Roberta's Las Vegas Real Estate Blog: Traveling to Las Vegas.........Convention or Vacation?

Traveling to Las Vegas.........Convention or Vacation?

Is Las Vegas in your travel plans?  Maybe you are coming for a convention, since it is prime time for those.  As many of you in the real estate world know, there is a REALTOR® convention Nov. 13-16

If you are here for a convention, you will have a little free time to play, and I don't just mean gambling!

If you've followed my blogs you may know we have an unusual Jack Russell Terrier, that among other things, swims underwater.  Living here in Vegas we get a LOT of company, and everyone was amazed and wanted pictures and videos of her.  So, to make life easier, we decided to set up a webpage for her. Needless to say we were also getting overwhelmed with requests for information, so we combined the two, since it was for friends and family.  Well, it is a big hit, and both have gone global!  So might as well share it with all of you here to enjoy. To find where they hide coupons, discounts, and even some nightclub guestlists Visit Sparky's LasVegas Coupons

The CRS "Sell-a-bration" took place in January of this year in Vegas, at the MGM Grand Hotel.  The setting helped to make it a great event!

Sometimes I like downtown Las Vegas as much as the Strip.  There's a fabulous restaurant in the lower level of Four Queens, called Hugo's Cellar.  The service there is awesome and the food is impressive.  After dinner, It's worthwhile to stay for the light show on Fremont Street!

Eric: You are right about downtown.  A great place to watch the light show is from the Vue lounge balcony at Fitzgerald's Casino.  We are actually going to Fitzgerald's tomorrow night to see a showcase performance of Larry G. Jones, singing comedy impressionist.  He is normally dark Tues and Wed. He puts on an excellent show, so if you get a chance, check him out.

Roberta - I your Sparky clip - it's totally hysterical -you guys must be very proud "parents". And how did you film this under water? Lots of fun.

I have never been to Vegas -not a gambling type, but would like to see it. Your blog makes me want to do it sooner. Thanks.

Faina:  We bought an underwater camera to film her.  We are proud!!  You don't have to come to Vegas to gamble.  I never had a desire to come here because I didn't realize how much more there was besides gambling.  There is so much to do and see and the shows are just fabulous!  You should check it out, I think you would be pleasantly surprised!
